Michael “Mike” E. Harroll

Michael “Mike” E. Harroll, age 65, of Switz City, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Greene County General Hospital. He was born in Linton on October 12, 1958 the son of Lowell “Hap” and Lena “Sally” (Canady) Harroll.

He worked as a laborer for the Indiana/Kentucky Railway for several years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and archery.

Mike is survived by his sons, Michael (Ashley) J. Harroll of Worthington and Daniel (Sabrina) Harroll of Brazil; grandchildren, Hank Harroll, Toby Harroll, Jake Harroll, Dyanna Harroll and Davis Harroll; step-grandchildren, Layla and Aden; step-mother, Joan Harroll; siblings, Cindy (Doug) McCammon, Jim (Penny) Harroll, Debbie (Dick) Waskom and J.R. Harroll; step-sister, Lisa (Jay) Price as well as step-brothers, Joe (Lana) Waskom and Chuck (Nancy) Waskom.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-brother, Gene Waskom; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Pearl Canady and paternal grandparents Lowell “Hap” and Gladys Harroll.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Friday, November 17, 2023 with Pastor Cliff Gano officiating. Burial will follow at Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
