Gary L. Fisher

Gary L. Fisher, 82, of Martinsville, passed away with family by his side on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at IU Health West Hospital in Avon. He was born in Linton on November 20, 1941, to Henry L. and Lillian F. (Gabbard) Fisher. Gary married the love of his life, Brenda M. (Minella) Fisher on June 15, 1962, celebrating over 60 years together.

Gary was a computer programmer for CACI, retiring with 30 years of service. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, social media, the Game Show Network, pizza and especially his beloved family.

Family left to cherish his memory include daughter, Toni (Paul) Ford of Martinsville; sons, Todd (Wendy Morgan) Fisher of DeBary, Fla. and Terry (Wendy) Fisher of Lewisberry, Pa.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Lohr of Switz City and Debbie (Dan) Sligar of Dugger.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Brenda Fisher.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Paul Ford officiating. Gary will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to A Senior Retreat, 609 S. Lincoln St., Martinsville, IN 46151. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
