Kathy L. Duncan, 70, of Worthington, went to Heaven to be with Jesus, surrounded by family at her home, on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1953, in Linton to Herbert Hasler and Emma Jo (Wilkie) Wright. Kathy married the love of her life, Joe D. Duncan, on June 6, 1971.

Kathy was a member of the Linton First Christian Church and Greene County Master Gardeners. She was a budget analyst at Crane Naval Base, retiring with 18 years of service. Kathy was a Godly and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Family left to cherish the memory of Kathy include her husband, Joe Duncan; two sons, Levi (Cassie) Duncan of Linton and Matt (Lisa) Duncan of Morristown, Tenn.; grandchildren, Eli, Owen, Ella, Corban, Callie, Charissa and Caden; sister, Barbara (Homer) Titus of Bloomington and sister-in-law, Judy Wright of Switz City.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jeremy Duncan; brother, Loren Wright and sister, Janice Hamilton.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Matthew Duncan and Warren Shake officiating. Kathy will be laid to rest in Walker Cemetery in Jasonville.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton First Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
