John David Pritchard

John David Pritchard, 82, of Linton passed away at 3:55 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

He was born July 12, 1941 in Worthington to Harry Alfred Pritchard Sr. and Vera Barbara (Huller) Pritchard.

Survivors include his niece, Laura Webb of Bloomington; cousin, Danny Pritchard of Dugger and many cousins from Paragon and New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary C. Webb; half-sister, Betty McKee and half-brother, Harry A Pritchard Jr..

John graduated high school in the class of 1959. He had worked at Pope Lumber Company in Linton, several gas stations and for farmers. He also enjoyed working on cars. He attended St. Peters Catholic Church in Linton.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home located at 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dick Smith officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
