Thelma “T.C.” Marie (Roach) Cullison

Thelma “T.C.” Marie (Roach) Cullison was born March 5, 1940 in Greene County and was a resident of Beech Grove since 1966. She was a 1958 graduate of Bloomfield High School. She worked as the first female security guard at Eli Lilly and Co., retiring in 1993.

Thelma loved her family and friends and was a member of the American Legion Post 276, Beech Grove Eagles, Beech Grove Moose Club and Eastern Star Lodge. She enjoyed traveling and feeding the birds and squirrels that frequented her front porch. She lived life to the fullest. In the words of T.C., “If you don’t have fun with your life, it’s your own d****** fault!”

Thelma leaves behind brothers, Lloyd (Barb) Roach and Keith (Jackie) Roach; daughters, Penny Leeson and Marcy Weidman; grandchildren, Erica (Kevin) Gudat, Tara (Bryan) Myers, Robert Locke, Jacob (Kirsten) Cullison, Jordan Cullison and Jessie Cullison; great-grandchildren, Logan and Luke Gudat, Mya and Mason Myers, Aubrey and Aleigha Cullison, Jenna and CJ Cullison and Madelyn Cullison along with many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Bertha Roach; brother, Ralph Roach; son, Jeffrey Cullison and grandson, TJ Rich.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Little & Sons at 1301 Main St. in Beech Grove with a funeral service at Lester Jenkins & Sons at 421 S. Seminary Street in Bloomfield on Saturday, March 16th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with service starting at 4 p.m..

The family ask that any memorial donations in Thelma’s name be given to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
