Nancy June Covey (Rudolph)

Nancy June Covey (Rudolph) 76, died on March 17,2024 at her home in Solsberry. Nancy was born on June 25, 1947 in Danville, Ill.. She was the daughter of George and Elva Rudolph. After graduating from Eastern Greene High School in Bloomfield, Nancy went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting. She then worked at RCA/Thompson until the plant closed in 1998. She went on to work at Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) until she retired. She worked part-time at H&R Block throughout her working years. She was married to Joseph Arthur Cunningham, Sr., and had two children, Joseph Arthur Jr. and Jeannie Denise. She later married Kenneth Covey, Sr. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Bloomfield. After retiring, Nancy loved to travel with her family. Her favorite travel destinations were New York City, Alaska and Hawaii. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and would get whisked away in her stories. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Lions Club. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elva; her husband, Kenny; her sister, Bea Mahony and her brother, Kenny Rudolph. She is survived by Joe Cunningham, Sr.; her son, Joe Cunningham, Jr.; her daughter, Jeannie (Chris) Clough; her grandchildren, Bobbi (Tyler) May, Jessie Cain, Kevin Cain, Cody Clough and Kylie Clough; her great-grandsons, Joseph May, Tyler May, Kristofer May and Bryant May; her siblings, Marjorie Matthews, Hazel Davan, Pete (Diane) Rudolph, Clarence (Nina) Rudolph, Linda Meadows, Ginni (Warren) Kutch, Russ (Marjory) Rudolph, Donnie (Cheryl) Rudolph, Jeannette (Bryan) Stephens and Steve (Gloria) Rudolph. Funeral services will be held at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at 4155 S Old State Rd 37 in Bloomington. Visitation will be on Friday, March 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 23 from 12 p.m. until the service commences at Allen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, County Rd 140S, Bloomfield, IN 47424 following the funeral service.
