Carolyn Hay

Carolyn Hay, age 76, of Linton, passed away at 10:12 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Linton on February 1, 1948 the daughter of William “Bub” and Jeanette (Dunning) Weaver.

She was a 1966 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. She worked as an electronic technician at Crane for several years. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Cory (Brandi) Hay of Bronston, Ky.; grandchildren, Ariana Hay and Mason Hay; nephews, Jeremy Castle and Bryan (Kristi) Weaver and nieces, Kristina Tucker and Mackenzie Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William “Bill” Weaver and sister, Susanne Weaver.

Celebration of life will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 with Chaplain Rhonda Haynes officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
