WRV school, teachers reach tentative agreement

A tentative agreement between the White River Valley Education Association and the school administration was made Wednesday night during a seven-hour bargaining session. According to WRV Superintendent Layton Wall, the two sides agreed to salary increases for the 2003-04, 2004-05, and 2005-06 school years. During its monthly meeting on Wednesday, the Bloomfield Town Council heard the results of a Southern Indiana Development Commission housing needs assessment. Jenny Dearwester, of SIDC, held the public hearing during the meeting.
