Bloomfield town officials are pursuing the source of a persistent petroleum-based smell in the South Seminary Street area that has been noticeable for a couple of weeks now. Linton man dies next to his car in Clay County; cause of death called 'natural'

Preliminary autopsy results of a 52-year-old Linton man, who was discovered lying next to his car along State Road 59 in Clay County on Thursday evening, show the cause of death to be of "natural causes." Clay County Coroner Rick Swearingen said there is nothing about James Weaver, Jr.'s death that would indicate further investigation is warranted.
