Mary Margaret "Mag" Beasley Mary Margaret "Mag" Beasley, 93, of Odon, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was lovingly known as "Mag" and Mamaw Beas." She was born May 3, 1921, in Daviess County, to Julie (Lents) and Roy Bullock. She married John Alden Beasley Feb. 2, 1946. He passed away November 2009.

High school students were released early Tuesday after an unknown threat at Linton-Stockton High School. Students reported being directed to the gymnasium around 2 p.m. where they were held with police supervision until all high school students were released around 2:40 p.m. Students reported being directed to leave by specific routes and were unable to go back through the school building...

Virginia D. Robertson, 83, of Dugger, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was born in Sullivan County, Indiana June 25, 1930 the daughter of Delmas Jerrels and Masle Hale Jerrels. Virginia was a member of the Mt. Moriah Church, and the First Christian Church in Dugger. She was a LPN, and retired supervisor from American Latex...

Cletus D. Bough, 79, of Lyons, went to Heaven on February 23, 2014 surrounded by his family at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born in Greene County, to Orman and Bonnie F. (Bruce) Bough on January 29, 1935. Cletus took Martha J. Bovenschen to be his loving wife on September 1, 1956...

Former District 62 State Representative Jerry Denbo, of French Lick, has died. Denbo, who was in his 60s, died of natural causes 'peacefully in his sleep on Monday', according to Aaron Kemple of the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick.
