Goose Pond receives grant for exhibit

Hospital board members assess January budget report

The Greene County General Hospital members reviewed the January budget report Tuesday night. The report showed that January’s gross revenue was slightly below budget. Board members attributed this to a low number of in-patients. The board members commended Dr. Frederick Ridge for starting as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Ridge has an office located in the Hospital. Stacy Burris, the hospital’s director of marketing, said he “is off to a great start working on reviewing policies and procedures.”...

JASONVILLE -- Shakamak’s offense went missing in action Thursday night, and visiting Owen Valley posted a 43-25 victory over the Lakers. The Lakers (4-19) could muster only 11 points in the first half, and the Patriots (11-12) not only never trailed, but posted a 23-11 halftime lead.
