Around 11 a.m., Sgt. Curt Durnil's updated report urged motorists to use caution throughout the ISP's Bloomington District. "We are asking Hoosiers who do not have to travel today to please stay home," said Durnil. As snow continues to fall over the District which includes Monroe, Owen, Lawrence, Greene and Brown counties, Durnil reported the following current road conditions: * SR 37 is still snow covered and slick. We are still receiving reports of vehicle slide offs, north and south of Bloomington, for vehicles traveling too fast for current road conditions. * U.S. highways (231 & 50) are snow covered and slick. * Secondary roads (county roads) are completely snow covered / white out conditions in spots and extremely slick.
