Sunday in the Park event at Lyons features good food and entertaining music

The fifth annual Lyons Sunday in the Park event was staged Sunday and featured gospel, country, rock, bluegrass and pop live musical entertainment. Hosted by Buck and Judy Mullis and members of Boy Scout Troop 407 of Lyons, the event featured free ham and beans along with chili that was cooked on an open fire. Jasonville encounters easement woes in water project

The Jasonville City Council learned Monday they are are close to finalizing Phase II of the Water Treatment Project. Attorney Jeff Hawkins of Hawkins Law said he has three easements to get signatures on and then that portion will be completed.
