Seventeen Union High School students received scholarship awards at the annual Senior Honor Night May 16 in the high school gymnasium. Those 17 graduating seniors received $24,250 in awards from Dugger Dollars for Scholars. Peyton Ryan Hazeltine Whittington, 5, of rural Columbus, died at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home.
