The 11th annual Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association All-Star game is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday here at Indiana State University's Memorial Stadium. Coaching this year's squads will be Brian Crabtree from Class A State Champion North Vermillion and Tim Herrin from the record setting Terre Haute South Braves. Crabtree will be coaching the Gold Squad while Herrin will be in charge of the Black Squad.....

LINTON -- For any connoisseur of classic cars and trucks, Linton's Humphreys Park was the place to be on Saturday, June 27 for the 23rd annual Classic Cruisers Car Show. Every type of vehicle both old and modern, lined the south of end of Humphreys Park.....

The Greene County Stingrays swim club hosted the annual Stingray Invitational swim meet at A.M. Risher Pool in Linton Saturday. Teams from South Vermillion and Marshall, Illinois competed along with the Stingrays. "We had a great time today," Stingrays swim club coach Kyle Kirchner said. "The meet ran very quickly.".....

LINTON -- Baby Freedom, Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker were crowned Saturday evening at Linton's Humphreys Park at the band shell in front a large audience. Joy Weddle, 3, was crowned for the 2015 Miss Sparkler. Joy is the daughter of Hope Griffith and James Weddle.....
