The Bloomfield School District school board met in regular session on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. During the meeting, a speaker for KrM gave a design development presentation with regard to the scope of the school building project. The board approved a recommendation to move forward with the design plan. The project is expected to go up for bid in February with construction anticipated to begin in the spring...

Robert A. Reid, age 93, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 5:27 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center. He was born in Indianapolis, on Nov. 7, 1926, the son of Newton and Catherine (Carr) Reid. He worked as an Angus cattle farmer and a fertilizer salesman. Nathan Abrams won nearly 70% of the Greene County vote and will serve his 3rd term as the District 2 County Commissioner. Constituents in Eastern Greene selected four board members from six candidates Tuesday as the four winners campaigned together.
