Bloomfield School Board approves design development project (Local News ~ 11/03/20)
The Bloomfield School District school board met in regular session on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. During the meeting, a speaker for KrM gave a design development presentation with regard to the scope of the school building project. The board approved a recommendation to move forward with the design plan. The project is expected to go up for bid in February with construction anticipated to begin in the spring... -

Robert A. Reid (Obituary ~ 11/03/20)
Robert A. Reid, age 93, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 5:27 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center. He was born in Indianapolis, on Nov. 7, 1926, the son of Newton and Catherine (Carr) Reid. He worked as an Angus cattle farmer and a fertilizer salesman. Greene County welcomes new County Surveyor Ed Strong

Ed Strong will take up the county surveyor position for the first time. Strong ran for the position unopposed, something he didn’t know would be the case when his wife mentioned the open spot to him. Strong graduated in 1966 and joined the marine corps. Next, he decided to become a sheriff's deputy, then went to work at Crane as a police officer. Strong has been retired for several years but is eager to get to work as the new county surveyor...
