Say it on a license plate
You have seen the Indiana personalized license plates around town for some time. Personalized plates were created to show your personal creativity while traveling Hoosier highways.
You can state your profession on your vanity plate. ‘SHAMPOO’ can been seen in town, driven around by a hairdresser. ‘KEYS R US’ is on the license plate of a blacksmith’s company. ‘AREIN’ being the license plate for a nurse. ‘FLORIST’ is on a flower delivery truck.
Some vanity plates are easy to understand. ‘PAID 4’ means no more car payments. ‘JUNK’ was the license plate on an old ‘70s pick-up truck.
Another plate, ‘2LOUD4U’ made a statement about loudspeakers. One woman was talking on her phone and her license plate was ‘GABBY’. Some vanity plates simply answer the question, “What is it?” I know about a classic gold-colored pick-up truck with a license plate that reads ‘ITSA36’.
I particularly enjoyed the vanity plate, ‘I COPE’. Simple, but she got her point across.
