Commissioner Larry Hasler undergoes brain surgery

Greene County District 2 Commissioner Larry Hasler underwent surgery at an Indianapolis hospital Thursday for what a family member says is a brain tumor. Hasler was first hospitalized Monday evening at Greene County General Hospital in Linton after he became ill and collapsed prior to officiating a junior high basketball game at White River Valley-Lyons Elementary School. He was later transferred to Bloomington Hospital, according to his wife, Karon.
