UPDATED: Man who threatened to kill police officer now in custody

A warrant was issued Wednesday afternoon for the arrest of a 22-year-old Bloomfield man accused of threatening to kill a police officer and another man in Bloomfield Saturday evening. Brandon A. Criss allegedly attacked two police officers and drew blood with a bite, kicked, yelled and head-butted his way through an incident which ended with a trip to Greene County General Hospital for blood tests and a psychiatric evaluation. On Wednesday, a number of preliminary charges were filed against Criss in Greene Superior Court including intimidation, a class C felony; two counts of battery upon a law enforcement officer resulting in bodily injury, both class D felonies; resisting law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor; and public intoxication, a class B misdemeanor. Late Wednesday afternoon, Bloomfield Deputy Marshall Harvey Holt and Bloomfield Reserve Officer Terry Jackson transported Criss without incident from the hospital to the jail where he is being held on $20,000 bond
