Greene County is under a dense fog advisory until this evening. At 12:29 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued the advisory effective until 7 p.m. Friday evening. The NWS statement said dense fog was spreading across central Indiana reducing visibility to less than one mile in some areas...

Police searching for suspects who invaded home in eastern Greene

The hunt is on for two masked suspects who invaded a home in eastern Greene County during the night, tied-up the elderly couple that lived there, ransacked their home then fled in the couple's own vehicle. At least one of the suspects was armed. Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce called it a case of home invasion and armed burglary and said several law enforcement agencies have been working to assist the Sheriff's Department on the case since the call came in...
