Gregg to sign new book in Linton on Friday

A few rate increases were approved during the January meeting of the Linton City Council. The council agreed to an increase in certain rates at Fairview Cemetery. Mayor Tom Jones said the cemetery board met in December and had a lengthy discussion about increases. But the board decided this is not the time to make a lot of rate increases...

Linton employee reports damage to tires

A city of Linton employee reported an incident of criminal mischief after discovering the tires had been punctured on vehicles sitting in his driveway at home sometime late Sunday or early Monday. Charles L. Botsford, who serves as the City's Animal Control Officer, advised officers that the two rear tires of a car, parked in the driveway of his residence in NE Linton, had been punctured with a knife or other sharp object...
