A “sexually violent predator” from Knox County is in Greene County Jail after staying at a Linton residence. Robert C. Alumbaugh, 31, Vincennes, is facing two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye, police became aware of Alumbaugh staying at a G Street NW residence in Linton after an anonymous tip was made to police about a registered sex offender staying at the house.
