Roger Hamilton had a gut feeling two years ago he may have to close his General Motors dealership in Linton. At the end of the business day Friday, that will become a reality. Roger Hamilton, co-owner of Linton Motors LLC with NASCAR legend Ken Schrader, announced Thursday morning that his dealership will close for good. "(GM) decided not to continue on with providing us with new GM vehicles," Hamilton said from his office along NE A St. "With the economy in general, looking at the whole picture, it makes more sense (to close) instead of hanging on and hanging on and hoping it will recover. "(As of Friday evening) we're closed, but Linton Motors LLC will still be here for a little bit. There's a slight chance we may continue on in the used car side, but that has yet to be determined."
