Bob worked as a bookkeeper for the Southern Music Company in Indianapolis and at the Crane Naval Base in the Ordinance Department for 12 years. He also worked at the Fairview Cemetery as the sexton for 12 years before retiring in 1991. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He served with the Naval Intelligences of the Pacific Fleet Headquarters in the Pacific Theater and upon returning to the states from over seas, he served in the Pentagon in Washington D.C. until his discharge with a host of accommodations. Bob was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church, the Linton Loyal Order of the Moose, Past Commander of the American Legion Post 22, VFW Post 7118 and a Life Member of DAV. His hobbies included watching all sports programs, especially baseball and also a member of the wrestling team at Bedford High School. Survivors include his brother, H.
